Artist Bio
Art is part of my life everyday. I have grown up surrounded by art. My father is a graphic designer, my uncle is an art professor at University of New Mexico, and other family members are web designers and editors based in New York. My passion to create and design has been in my blood since day one.
Throughout grade school I participated in competitions and won several awards for my artwork. I furthered my studies throughout high school in graphic design/printmaking and ultimately became the design editor of our school magazine. I attended Valdosta State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Arts.
My journey continued shortly after moving to Savannah, GA. I worked for a Sign Shop in Richmond Hill called Pocket Media, where I found my calling: creating artwork in the graphic world and watching it come to fruition on the production side. I was able to show my creativity with automobile wraps, signage and more. The love I have for design and art led me to this career.
After a few years, I left my career in order to pursue another passion: motherhood. My sons and my husband are my drive to push to be a better person for them, others and myself. I owe them so much for showing me a side of myself in which I now cannot live without.
In the time of being a stay at home mother, I have continued my graphic and fine art journey though freelance. I have a started a small in home business, T-Rex Grafx. I have done work for local companies like Flexer Enterprise and Dozier Crane. I have also helped in starting up a few businesses with creating logo and banding ideas.
Now I am complete having the best of both worlds of being a mother and an artist. I am ready to start the next adventure in my career.
